[Vehicle Usage Tips] Maintenance and Simplified Operation Guide for Powder Tanker Trucks | Truck Drivers, Take Note
I. Routine Maintenance
Chassis & Air Compressor
Maintenance should be performed according to the original manufacturer's manual.
Power Take-Off (PTO)
Regularly check lubrication and for abnormal noises; inspect gear wear annually; overspeeding is strictly prohibited.
Air Circuit
Check for leaks and repair valves; safety valves should open at 0.2 MPa; tank pressure must not exceed the limit.
Tank & Air Chamber
Repair leaking welds promptly; replace damaged or damp fluidizing tarpaulins immediately; tighten pressure strips to prevent leaks.
II. Unloading Safety Rules
Depressurize before opening the cover; regularly check instruments and safety valves; immediately stop the machine if abnormal noises occur; strictly control tank pressure.
III. Standard Unloading Procedure
Close all valves → Disengage clutch in neutral → Start PTO and air compressor → Stabilize speed to 900 r/min → Open auxiliary blowing and unloading valves at 0.18 MPa → Unload the rear chamber at 0.04 MPa, then unload the front chamber only → Return pressure to zero and shut off valves. IV. Operational Precautions
Do not fill the tank completely; prevent foreign objects from entering the tank; immediately stop the air compressor if it makes abnormal noise; do not leave your post while unloading; keep the inside of the tank dry; do not rev the engine suddenly; do not use an external air source for exhaust; tighten all bolts on the vehicle after the first unloading.
V. Emergency Handling
In case of overpressure, open the exhaust valve; drain water from the bottom of the tank; replace the wet tarpaulin; if work is stopped due to a malfunction, first close the unloading valve and then release the pressure.
